Ireland's contribution to the United Nations regular budget was £101,695 in 1972. The 1973 budget of the UN has not yet been approved. We shall not know the final figure and our contribution until sometime in December.
Is there likely to be a 25 per cent increase?
It is difficult to say with any accuracy but the estimates suggest a figure of between £100,000 and £125,000 as being our contribution.
