Vol. 263 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions Oral Answers. - Army Disability Benefits.

169.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will extend the scheduled date for application for benefits in respect of disability contracted during the Emergency.

The Army Pensions Acts provide that applications for pensions in respect of disease contracted during the emergency period must be made before the expiration of four years from the date of discharge. This is considered reasonable and no change is contemplated.
