Vol. 263 No. 10

Written Answers. - County Tipperary Water Schemes.

256.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he has yet appointed any local government engineer in charge of group water schemes in County Tipperary.

The North and South Ridings of Tipperary are regarded as separate units for group water schemes purposes, and an inspector has been assigned to each area on a full-time basis for some years. The inspector for the South Riding died recently and, pending the recruitment of additional inspectors, the inspector dealing with these schemes in Kilkenny has, in addition, been temporarily assigned to Tipperary (South Riding).
