The question of a career grading structure in the health board areas for members of the paramedical professions including physiotherapists is continuously under review by me. Senior posts are created where circumstances warrant such posts and the number of these senior posts is increasing over the years.
With regard to physiotherapists, posts of senior physiotherapist and physiotherapist-in-charge are approved in appropriate cases.
