asked the Minister for Lands if a farm (details supplied) in County Sligo will be taken over and divided among the local farmers.

45.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have taken over the farm of a person (name supplied) in County Sligo for division among local small farmers.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 44 and 45 together.

In both instances the lands have been purchased by the Forest and Wildlife Service but the Land Commission are now inquiring as to their suitability for the relief of congestion.

asked the Minister for Lands if a farm (details supplied) in County Sligo will be divided in the near future; and the cause of the delay in this case.

Possession of this holding was obtained by the Land Commission in February, 1971.

It is expected that the holding, together with other lands in an adjoining townland, aggregating 72 acres, will be divided next spring.
