Vol. 263 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Processed Foods Exports.

65.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if, as of 1973, any Irish exports of processed food products are likely to bear charges on exports to third countries as a result of EEC regulation 609/72.

No export charge is at present being imposed under this regulation and no proposal for any such charge has been made. I would not wish to speculate as to whether or when any such proposal might be put forward.
