Vol. 263 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Phibsboro (Dublin) Traffic Lights.

166.

(Dublin Central) asked the Minister for Local Government if Dublin Corporation intends to erect traffic lights at the junction of Monck Place and Phibsboro Road, Dublin.

A decision to install traffic lights at any particular junction in their area is a matter for Dublin Corporation acting at the request or with the consent of the Garda Commissioner. My Department is concerned if Road Fund moneys are sought to meet the cost of an installation. No proposals are before my Department in connection with the provision of traffic lights at the junction of Monck Place and Phibsboro' Road, Dublin.
