Vol. 264 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - School of Architecture.

26.

asked the Minister for Education if his attention has been drawn to a call for the establishment of an independent school of architecture the standards of which would be controlled by an Irish council; and if he will make a statement in the matter.

I have no statement to make regarding the future provision to be made for architectural education pending the Government's decisions, in the context of the Reports of the Higher Education Authority, on a new structure for higher education, of which architecture will form a component part.
