Vol. 264 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - School Attendance Prosecutions.

46.

asked the Minister for Justice if he has received a copy of a resolution from the Dún Laoghaire School Attendance Committee suggesting consultation between the Ministers for Education, Local Government and Justice and recommending that prosecutions under the School Attendance Act for the Dún Laoghaire area should be brought before the district court at Dún Laoghaire in order to facilitate parents and children resident in that area; and the action he proposes to take on the matter.

There is no trace in my Department of the receipt of any such resolution in the recent past.
