(Cavan) asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that copies of the register of electors are not being made available to members of the Oireachtas free of charge for the forthcoming referenda; and if he will take steps to have them made available.

A copy of the register of electors is supplied on publication to each Deputy for the constituency and to each member of the Seanad residing in the constituency. There is no provision for the supply of further free copies of the register to members of the Oireachtas at a referendum.
