The names and occupations of the members of the visiting committee to Portlaoise prison are given in a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I shall have circulated with the Official Report.
With regard to the addresses, it has never been the policy to make these public as this would increase the likelihood of the members being importuned by friends or relatives of prisoners seeking favours for them.
