Vol. 264 No. 8

Vote 43: Defence.

I move:

That a sum not exceeding £26,318,000 be granted to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st March, 1973, for the salaries and expenses of the Office of the Minister for Defence, including certain services administered by that Office; for the pay and expenses of the Defence Forces; and for payment of a Grant-in-Aid.

I should like to know the position with regard to the payment from the United Nations for our troops abroad. I do not want a reply now. I assume it can be given at a later stage.

I will communicate with the Deputy.

Question put and agreed to.
