This application was first considered in 1965 and the applicant was informed that on the evidence available it had not been established that he was eligible for the award of the medal. This has been confirmed to him on six subsequent occasions following further investigations. He has again appealed but despite additional inquiries it has not been possible so far to get acceptable evidence of his membership.
