64.

asked the Minister for Local Government the amount of the grant allocated to County Clare for local improvements schemes for the current year.

65.

asked the Ministers for Local Government the amount of the grant allocated to County Galway for local improvement schemes for the current year.

66.

asked the Minister for Local Government the amount of money available this year for local improvement schemes and the amount allocated to County Cork.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle I propose to take Questions Nos. 64 to 66 together.

The total provision proposed for the local improvements scheme in 1973-74 is £1 million.

Allocations have been notified to the county councils concerned as follows: Cork, £77,000; Clare, £45,000; Galway, £11,000.

Will areas such as Cork, Clare and Galway get the special improvement grant which they got in previous years? There was a special allocation for the western seaboard.

The Deputy is asking for information about a matter which is not referred to in his question. I should like to give the answer but I cannot do so at this stage.

Later perhaps?
