asked the Minister for Finance the number of persons appointed to the Civil Service, from outside the Civil Service, in the public interest or on secondment since 15th March, 1973; the Departments to which they were assigned; their particular functions, if any, in each such Department; and their salary scales.

The information requested by the Deputy is set out in the form of a tabular statement, which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report.

Following is the statement:
