An area of 43½ acres on the southern side of the Hill of Tara has already been acquired by the State.
Following a recent Supreme Court decision arrangements have been initiated for the acquisition of a further 57½ acres of land on the northern side. It is not possible at this stage to say when the acquisition proceedings are likely to be completed.
