Vol. 265 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin School.

18.

asked the Minister for Education if he is aware of the unsatisfactory and dangerous condition of the older section of St. Michael's Girl's Secondary School, Finglas, Dublin; and if he will indicate the present position regarding its replacement.

Mr. R. Burke

The provision of a major extension to this school, including the replacement of the older section, has been approved. Discussions with the school authorities and their building consultants have been taking place over the past few weeks regarding the accommodation to be provided. When agreement is reached on this matter the school authorities will be authorised to proceed with the arrangements for the provision of the necessary accommodation at the earliest possible date.
