An application for the extension of Ballyfermot Vocational School is under consideration in my Department. Similar applications have been made by the secondary schools in the area. A proposal that the four existing post-primary schools continue as junior cycle schools and that a single senior cycle school be built to cater for the needs of the area at that level is being considered in consultation with the interests involved.
