Vol. 265 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Itinerant Families Survey.

96.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will commission an up-to-date survey of the number of itinerant families in the country, their location, an analysis of the persons concerned and the accommodation provided for them to date.

A number of surveys have already been carried out, the latest in September, 1972. A further survey is not envisaged immediately, but the question of information needs will be kept under review as the programme for itinerant settlement proceeds.
