Vol. 266 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Pedestrian Underpass.

78.

asked the Minister for Local Government the nature of any proposals to provide a pedestrian underpass in the city centre of Dublin.

I am aware that Dublin Corporation proposed to consider whether pedestrian underpasses should be provided in the city centre and that the matter came within the scope of their consultants' report on the central Dublin traffic plan. That report is now with the corporation. There are no proposals at present before me for the construction of such facilities in the city centre.
