Vol. 267 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Brandon Bay Landing Facilities.

5.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he is prepared to make a grant available to Kerry County Council to carry out work on the landing facilities at Brandon Bay.

Apart from a proposal to remove a rock at the head of the pier, which is being investigated by the Office of Public Works at the request of my Department, no other works at Brandon Bay pier, for which a State grant might be considered, are envisaged by my Department.

Kerry County Council are the maintenance authority for the pier and repair works to it are the responsibility of that body.
