The National Drugs Advisory Board, in conjunction with the Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Allied Industries Association, are actively considering the feasibility of providing child-resistant closures on containers for medicines, including aspirin.
When I have received a report from the board on the result of these considerations, I will consider what action, if any, I should take in the matter.
