Ceisteanna—Questions. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.

22.

asked the Minister for Local Government the present position regarding the proposed sewerage schemes for (1) Rossnowlagh and (2) Burtonport, County Donegal.

I approved preliminary proposals for Rossnowlagh sewerage scheme on the 10th October, 1973. Preliminary proposals for Burtonport sewerage scheme are at present under examination in my Department. I expect to be in a position to give my decision thereon soon.

asked the Minister for Local Government if a consultant engineer has yet been approved for the proposed Ballybofey-Stranorlar stage 2 sewerage scheme, County Donegal.

My approval to the appointment of a consulting engineer to prepare a preliminary report for the Ballybofey-Stranorlar sewerage scheme issued on the 5th October last.

24.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he has received a request from Donegal County Council to sanction a tender for Burnfoot water supply scheme; and, if so, whether sanction has been granted.

A request for sanction to a tender for this scheme has not been submitted to my Department to date.

25.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he has sanctioned contract documents, etc. for the Manorcunningham-Corkey water supply scheme, County Donegal.

I have now sanctioned contract documents for this scheme.

26.

asked the Minister for Local Government the present position concerning Gneeneguilla sewerage scheme, County Kerry.

Kerry County Council are at present, at my request, updating their proposals for this scheme.
