Vol. 270 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kimmage (Dublin) Housing Development.

131.

asked the Minister for Local Government the type of development that will be allowed at the junction of Kimmage Road West and Kimmage Road Lower, Dublin.

If the Deputy's question refers to an appeal under the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1963, in relation to a proposal for housing development on a site at the junction of Kimmage Road West/Kimmage Road Lower, I have recently made a decision granting permission for the housing development in question subject to conditions including a condition regarding the preservation free from buildings of an area along the eastern portion of the site adjoining Kimmage Road Lower.

I am glad to hear this. Is it not true that there were two appeals rejected by the Minister?

I always do the right thing.
