I am not yet in a position to say when the 1974 budget will be introduced but I assure the Deputies that the Dáil will be given adequate notice of the date.
May I ask if the informed sources quoted in the speculative Press are correct in saying that it will be an earlier budget than usual?
I am not certain whether the sources are informed or not.
The Taoiseach already made that statement in the House.
