Vol. 272 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin-Limerick Postal Service.

6.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the reasons for the deterioration in recent months in the postal service between Dublin and Limerick which results in many letters being delivered as late as two days after posting; and if he will take steps to restore the service to its previous level of efficiency.

I do not agree that there has been a deterioration in the postal delivery service between Dublin and Limerick. If the Deputy furnishes particulars of cases in which delays appear to have occurred, I will have them specially investigated.
