Vol. 275 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Visits Abroad.

12.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will give details of each visit to a foreign country undertaken since 31st March, 1974, including the overall cost of such visit and the advantage for this country arising therefrom.

I assume that the question refers to official visits to a foreign country by me.

I have not visited any foreign country in my official capacity since the 31st March, 1974.

On a point of order, no reply was given to Question No. 10.

That is not the fault of the Chair.

The current Vote for Defence is equivalent to £12.32 for a full year per head of Population.

A Cheann Comhairle, has the question to which the Minister is reading the answer been called by you?

I am sorry.

He cannot bulldoze his way through the House.

The Chair is seeking to make as much progress at Question Time as possible.

I apologise to the House. The answer to Question No. 10 is not in the right place in my brief.

The Minister is a bully boy.

I have not yet got the answer to Question No. 10.

No. 13, then. We will get back to No. 10.
