asked the Minister for Defence if he will increase the present living-out allowance of £9 per month to Army nursing personnel.

The total remuneration of members of the Army Nursing Service is related directly to that of nursing personnel in health board hospitals and increases in remuneration granted to the latter are also applied to the pay and allowances of Army nursing personnel.

The rate of accommodation allowance for members of the Army Nursing Service is due for increase from the 1st December next in the context of the 1974 National Wages Agreement—15th Round.
