Vol. 275 No. 3

Written Answers. - Meath Estate.

539.

asked the Minister for Lands the reason for the change of plan regarding that portion of the Flanagan estate which a person (name supplied) in County Meath is due to receive.

The Land Commission proposed to allot an area of eight acres to the person mentioned but before the allotment could be made an adjoining farmer offered another nine acres in exchange therefor. This latter area is considered to be suitable for the original proposed allottee and in the circumstances it is intended to carry out the exchange and to allot the nine acres to the person referred to by the Deputy.
