Vol. 276 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Redundancy Benefit.

128.

asked the Minister for Labour why a person in County Tipperary (details supplied) is being paid only 36 weeks' redundancy benefit whereas he was informed in writing by his Department that he would be paid for 50 weeks.

The records show that the person concerned was paid from the 26th December, 1973, to the 27th November, 1974, namely a period of 48 weeks. He will be paid for a further three weeks. If there is any misunderstanding in this case, I shall be glad to have the matter investigated further if the Deputy will be good enough to communicate with me.
