Vol. 277 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Official Visits Abroad.

8.

asked the Minister for Health the total cost, including all allowances and so on, of all journeys outside the State made by him, his Parliamentary Secretary and officials of his Department in the year ended 31st December, 1974.

In the year ended 31st December, 1974, no journey made by me outside the State was paid for out of the Vote for Health.

In the same period my Parliamentary Secretary made one journey which cost £34.

Journeys made by my officials cost £21,638. Of this £6,447 was recovered from EEC funds and £262 recovered from funds of the Council of Europe and the World Health Organisation.
