asked the Minister for Transport and Power the total amount of fuel oil in storage tanks on 31st December, 1974.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power the total amount of petrol in storage tanks on 31st December, 1974.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power the total amount of oil and oil products in storage tanks on 31st December, 1974.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 141, 142 and 143 together.

Preliminary returns show that the following stocks of oil were held by "oil importers" and "large oil consumers", as defined in the European Communities (Minimum Stocks of Petroleum Oils) Regulations, 1974, on 31st December, 1974: Petrol, 122, 512 metric tonnes; Fuel Oil, 525,443 metric tonnes; Crude Oil and Oil products, 843,326 metric tonnes.
