I understand that the council are in the process of appointing a director and that this will be completed shortly. I do not know how many applications they received for the post.
Can the Taoiseach explain why there is such a long delay in appointing a director?
I cannot. As the Deputy is aware, An Chomhairle published an advertisement inviting applications and I assume they are reviewing the applications submitted. It is a matter for An Chomhairle.
