Capital Gains Tax Bill, 1974: Financial Resolution.

I move:

THAT—

(a) there shall be charged on gains accruing on or after the 6th day of April, 1974, on the disposal of assets a tax to be known as capital gains tax;

(b) the said tax shall be paid by such persons, in such circumstances and at such rate as may be specified in the Act giving effect to this Resolution."
