I am aware that promoters have applied to the Industrial Development Authority seeking grant assistance towards the cost of establishing a fish processing factory in Clifden, County Galway. I understand that following discussions between the promoters and the IDA revised proposals are now being formulated by the promoters. On receipt of the revised proposals the application will be considered as quickly as possible by the IDA.
