asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission has been requested to acquire an estate (details supplied) in County Roscommon; and if any decision has yet been made to do so as there are congests in the area around it.

(Cavan): The Land Commission are at present carrying out a detailed inspection of the property referred to with a view to determining whether acquisition proceedings should be instituted. Until such time as this inspection has been completed it is not possible to say what action, if any, the Land Commission will take in regard to the lands.
