The total number of persons on the live register at Limerick employment exchange at appropriate dates at the beginning of the years concerned are as follows: 5th January, 1973, 2,498; 4th January, 1974, 2,226; 3rd January, 1975, 4,442; 2nd January, 1976, 4,305.
