Cavan): The Land Commission are in possession of the Keane, Green, Raftery and Moran properties referred to and it is expected that the purchase of the Dyre lands will be completed this year. It is hoped that these five properties, totalling some 82 acres, can be allotted in the current year. The Land Commission have not acquired the Doherty holding referred to in the question. They had the lands inspected but decided in 1974 to take no further action towards acquisition.
