Vol. 291 No. 4

Written Answers. - Water Schemes.

94.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will sanction in the near future the proposals for small water supply schemes which were submitted by Kerry County Council, including one costing £9,000 to lay an overland pipe from Corrig intake to Two mile Bridge, Kenmare, County Kerry.

My sanction is not required to proposals for individual small schemes. I have allocated £20,000 and subsequently made a loan of that amount available to Kerry County Council for the financing of their small schemes programme in 1976. It is for the county council to select the specific works to be financed from that allocation.
