This factory was closed down in August, 1975, when a receiver was appointed. The receiver recommenced production in November, 1975, but I understand that practically all of the work force have been laid off again recently.
Since the factory was closed in August last the receiver and the Industrial Development Authority have been endeavouring to find a purchaser for it but without success so far.
