Vol. 291 No. 10

Written Answers. - County Cork Unemployment Benefit.

33.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will arrange to have unemployment benefit or disability benefit paid to a person in County Cork (details supplied).

Three medical certificates of incapacity for work in the period from 27th April, 1976, to 10th May, 1976, in respect of the person referred to by the Deputy were received in my Department on 13th May, 1976. As he had less than 26 contribution paid or credited in the contribution year governing the period of the claim he was not entitled to benefit and a notification to this effect was issued to him on 14th May, 1976. No other claim or communication has been received from the person concerned.
