The appropriate allowance book, together with all arrears due, in respect of the child concerned was issued to the child's mother on 20th October, 1976.
The reason for the delay in dealing with the case was that the claimant had changed her address but had not notified my Department about this. She had also omitted from her claim her children's allowance book number which would have enabled her record to be identified.
