I assume that the Deputy has in mind the increases in cable television rentals which were announced by RTE Relays last August and which came into effect from 1st October. The case for an increase in these rentals was based on increases in salaries, wages and overhead costs. The application was considered by the National Prices Commission and the new rentals are in accordance with the commission's recommendation.
