Recruitment of trainee health inspectors did not take place this year because the numbers at present undergoing training will be sufficient to fill existing and anticipated vacancies.
When will recruitment be renewed?
It will be renewed as soon as it is seen by the Department that there will be vacancies for the new trainees when they are qualified.
Is training completed and are all trainee applicants posted to positions?
As the Deputy knows, some of them are at present doing the course and some will not qualify until 1978.
Will there be sufficient posts for those?
We hope so.
