asked the Minister for Justice when he will increase the number of gardaí which will allow proper protection to be given to the people of the Priorswood Estate, Coolock, Dublin.

85.

asked the Minister for Justice when he will provide proper protection for the people in the Donahies, Grangemore, Donaghmede and Grange Abbey area of County Dublin.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 84 and 85 together.

The areas referred to by the Deputy are served from Coolock Garda station. Having regard to other demands on Garda services, the commissioner does not propose to increase the strength of the station at present.
