Vol. 293 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - FCA Gratuities.

1.

asked the Minister for Defence if members of the FCA who have been on permanent security duties over the past few years will be granted gratuities on the basis of regular service.

Full-time security duty by members of the FCA is not reckonable as service in the Permanent Defence Force for the purposes of gratuity under the Defence Forces (Pensions) Schemes.
