Vol. 296 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Driving Test Result.

30.

asked the Minister for Local Government the reason for the delay in notifying a person (name supplied) in County Longford of the result of his last driving test; and the reason for the variation in the various tests to date.

There was no delay in notifying the person concerned of the result of his latest driving test. The official result forms were handed to him immediately on completion of that test, as they were on each of his previous tests. There is no variation in the content or standard of tests. The occurrence in a repeat test of a fault which did not occur in earlier tests reflects the applicant's own performance.
