asked the Minister for Lands if he will furnish particulars of forestry employment, bonus per hour and basic pay per hour at the latest date for which figures are available in the form of a reply of 27th November, 1973.

The information regarding employment, bonus per hour and basic pay per hour in the week ended 17th December, 1976, is set out in the attached table. While bonus rates were increased from 1st November, 1976, week ended 17th December, 1976, is the first week for which information regarding the increased rates is available.

asked the Minister for Lands the forests where forestry workers will have the protection of the Protection of Employment Bill, 1976, by reference to local establishments employing more than 20 persons.

Staffs in excess of 20 men are employed at the following centres: Camolin Forest, Clogheen Forest, Clonegal Forest, Cong Sawmills, Dundrum Sawmills, Glenealy Forest, Granard Forest, Killygordon Forest, Macroom Forest.
