Vol. 297 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Leitrim Hospital.

2.

asked the Minister for Health if he will arrange that the second floor of Our Lady's Hospital, Manorhamilton, County Leitrim, will be made available for medical patients if and when an orthopaedic unit is established in the hospital.

The question of establishing an orthopaedic unit at Our Lady's Hospital, Manorhamilton, is only one of a number of options being considered by the North Western Health Board for the purpose of providing an orthopaedic service within its own health board area. Until a decision has been reached on where the orthopaedic unit should be located the question of making any changes in the accommodation for medical patients in Manorhamilton Hospital does not arise.
