Vol. 298 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Meath Post Office.

18.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will have a new head post office erected in Navan, County Meath, as the present facilities are inadequate; and if he will provide a sub-post office at the northern end of the town.

It is the intention to erect a new head post office at Navan and a site which has been offered is under consideration. As regards the second part of the question it is not considered that provision of a sub-post office at the northern end of the town would be warranted at present by the amount of business likely to be done, but the position will be kept under review in the light of building development in the area.

The remaining questions will appear on tomorrow's Order Paper.
